As much as we are watching our children to see what they do with thier lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours.

Lemon Juice & Dirt

Lemon Juice & Dirt sounds like a toddler treat...well maybe not combined but fun individually to my children.   Isabella opened the fridge to get her cup and decided instead to grab the lemon juice.  Then she polished off the bottle and was proud!  Good thing she has lots of natural sweetness to balance off the sour taste.
Like many kids, ours enjoy digging in the dirt.  We encourage them to help in our garden and the girls literally dig right in!  Not only  do the girls have fun in the garden but Will enjoys spending his free time there too.  We are (hopefully) looking forward to a plentiful garden this summer.

As of right now we have strawberries, blueberries, 3 types of tomatoes (Ildi, Beauty & Vinson Watts), 3 types of peppers (Red Bell, Banana Supreme & Cayenne), green beans, oregano, sweet basil, rosemary, chives, peppermint, oregano, parsley, English lavender and lemon balm.  This week we will be planting more veggies!!  Stay tuned for updates on the Schaefer family garden.
