As much as we are watching our children to see what they do with thier lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours.

Isabella's 1st Thanksgiving

We went up to Maryland to spend Thanksgiving with all of our family. On Isabella's first thanksgiving she was able to enjoy the full traditional spread and savored every bite! We had our 1st thanksgiving meal on Thursday at Will's parents. Isabella suprised us all and climbed up a couple of stairs! Below are a few pictures from thanksgiving.

We spent Friday at my Mom's and enjoyed our 2nd thanksgiving meal. It was so nice to see everyone. Isabella enjoyed spending time with everyone and had fun playing with her cousin Kelty.

Saturday we were able to see Eddie, Mary, Melissa and Justin. We had a fabulous brunch at Victoria's in Ellicott City. It was so nice to see all of our family on this trip. Now we are home sweet home and enjoying the remainder of this holiday weekend.

This year on Thanksgiving I reflect about all that I am thankful for in my life. It was 2 years ago on thanksgiving that Will & I relocated from Timonium, MD to good ole Richmond, VA. And it was last Thanksgiving where I rubbed by pregnant belly and prayed for the birth of our daughter. Now that time is hear and I am beyond thankful to have my wonderful husband, my beautiful daughter and a home to grow our roots. On this thanksgiving I feel very thankful.

Fall Festivities

Fall is here so Will and I had our work cut out for us clearing a massive amount of leaves out of our yard. Isabella was curious about the large piles of leaves. She even wanted to see how they taste. Hey, no points Mom.

Last night we enjoyed a fantastic dinner with our fabulous friends, The Timmermans. Isabella even had a gourmet meal where she dined on olives, grapes and tomatoes for the 1st time. We all had a blast! Below is our attempt at a photo of James, Isabella & Molly.

...but Bell wants play time

Here are a few pics from last weekend. After weeks of training I ran my 1st 8K (5 miles). I was very proud of myself to get out there at 7am and run in the rain. Actually, I enjoyed it and look forward to running more races in Richmond. I ranked in the 50% out of 5000 runners. YAY!

Last weekend we attended the Illumination at Short Pump Mall. Isabella and I enjoyed getting down to music from the live band. Then Santa arrived from the North Pole on a train which was neat. Later Santa paraded by Isabella and below is her reaction after seeing Jolly ol' Saint Nick.

I am looking forward to a short work week and celebrating the holiday with all of my family. I am sure Isabella will have a blast on her 1st Thanksgiving. This year I am very thankful for my daughter Isabella, she is a dream come true. Have a nice Thanksgiving.

School Pics

This is Isabella's first school (day care) picture. Clearly, she was not very amused. The photographer was blowing bubbles trying to get her to smile but as you can see they did not have any luck. I wish I could have been there for her picture. Oh my sweet baby girl, I miss her so much when I am at work. Despite the expression on her face she does enjoy "School". So many toys and friends!

9 months old

Isabella is already 9 months old. We have been having so much fun with her. Bell's newest trick is waving bye-bye!
We have been very busy these past few weeks. Yard work, sickness and Bell got tubes. These days we are all feeling much better. In fact, I am feeling great. I ran my 1st 8k yesterday. YAY!!!!!! I have more pics & video from this weekend and will post a new blog soon.

Isabella's 1st Halloween

Halloween was very fun! Isabella was our lil' stinker for the evening. Our bucket of candy was bigger than Bell which was a good thing since we had a ton of trick-or-treaters. Our neighborhood was crawling with friendly kids dressed to impress. Our neighbors had over the top decorations including an 80 sq ft spider web and spooky music to boot. I never imagined my street would have such Halloween spirit. It almost felt like the twilight zone as neighbors were dueling it out for the best house on the street. Our decorations were meager in comparison, but we had the cutest skunk on the block! Time for a candy bath

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!
