As much as we are watching our children to see what they do with thier lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours.

Bonnets and Eggs

In your Easter Bonnet, with all the frills upon it,
You'll be the grandest lady in the Easter Parade.....
....Oh I could write a sonnet about your Easter bonnet,
And of the girl I'm taking to the Easter Parade.
Sophia's preschool had their annual  Easter parade with homemade bonnets.  Sophia was all smiles for the camera while she was on stage.  Sophia did great learning 5 songs to sing.  She is also excited about having off school for spring break!!

Tis the season to make colorful eggs.  The girls not only dyed a dozen eggs but added snazzy tattoos to them.  We had beautiful weather this past weekend to enjoy the project outside.

A highlight of our weekend was being able to catch up with our friend Sara and meet her beautiful baby Elodie!  RVA is not the same without the Sherman family and we treasured the time to get together.
Wishing you a a very happy Easter!

In with Yellow

As the old saying about March goes... "In like a Lion, out like a Lamb" or in our case in with a blue playroom and out with a yellow playroom.  We love the bright change in our sunshine colored room.  Plus, its the first room you see when you enter our home.  It was a family affair and we all helped paint the room as you can see by the photos below.

March weather in Richmond experienced all the seasons in the same month, which the girls enjoyed.  Thankfully, the snow is finally gone and we are enjoying the sights of spring in our yard. I love to see all the yellow daffodils blooming in our front yard.

We are proud that Isabella is not only reading, but she read to Sophia's class! Isabella was not nervous, rather she said "Its the time of my life!".   Though the month of March was a busy one, it is the time of our life and I am thankful to share it with my sweet family.

Here is a recap of our March memories...
