As much as we are watching our children to see what they do with thier lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours.

Easter

We spent Easter in Maryland visiting family. When we told the girls we were going bye-bye little Miss Sophia went right to the door to show she was ready to go "bye-bye". The Easter bunny made a surprise visit to church and Isabella was thrilled.   We enjoyed spending time with family and had a very nice holiday.

Petting Farm

Our playgroup visited a petting farm this week.  Isabella was being such a big girl She had a purse "just like Mommy" and even wanted to push the stroller.  Isabella was eager to see the animals and enjoyed touching and feeding them.  Sophia was more timid but she enjoyed watching from a distance.  Here are a few photos from our adventure.  Enjoy!

Busch Gardens

Last year we went to Busch Gardens quite a bit and Sophia was a trooper riding around in the stroller but I knew this year would be different.  I was not sure if Sophia would be up for rides or not.  Our 1st attempt was riding on a horse that goes around a carousel.  Fifi was very proud to be on the ride and all seemed well until...a park employee came over to check her seat belt.  Right away Sophia had big tears and I snuggled her up right away.

"Mommy that man was scary"
The next ride Sophia went on was a balloon ride where she could be strapped in with her sister.  Sophia really enjoyed this ride!  I think I was more scared than she was just from leaving her side.  In fact, she liked the ride so much that she turned around to look outside.

Sophia the daredevil
Sophia also turned around in her seat on the swings and they had to stop the ride to put her legs in front.  My heart about dropped watching her turn around in the swing for fear she would be hurt.  The girls were not too impressed with the swings.  They wanted to go faster and higher.  I, on the other hand, was happy the ride was tame.
Like I mentioned a lot has changed since our last visit to BG.  This year Isabella & her friends are old enough to understand how to operate the bumper cars.  Sophie sat the ride out and watched Isabella through the mesh wall.

Great job Isabella!

We continued to go on a bunch of rides and had a blast.  I was amazed how brave Sophia was on all the rides.  She felt like one of the big kids.  My girls are growing up so fast!

This is fun!

Flipping Fun

Isabella's 8 week dance/gymnastics class ended this week.  At the final class each child was given a certificate and a pin.  Isabella has really enjoyed the class.  I have enjoyed watching her learn.  Although Isabella likes dance, she prefers gymnastics.  It keeps her more engaged and helps to burn off extra energy.  She loves bouncing around and will miss the weekly class.  Thankfully I had my camera on the last day of class so I snapped up a few photos.  Enjoy!
Yeah Isabella!

Eggs

'Tis the season to dye eggs!  Will & I were anticipating a mess so we set up the activity outside. The girls were excited to start coloring thier eggs.   Isabella enjoyed watching the color tablets dissolve and thought it was "neat".  Sophia enjoyed dunking her eggs and only one was damanged in the process.   Here are a few photos from the fun...

The Hunt - Round 2

Today we had an Easter egg hunt at a local park with our playgroup.  The eggs were picked up pretty fast by all the kids which left for plenty of time to enjoy the playground. A picnic lunch made the morning complete.  Here are a few photos from today:

Pre-Easter Fun!

Our sweet Sophia has been feeling sick again.  She has an awful case of allergies but still manages to squeeze out a smile.  Today was a glorious 80 degrees and the perfect day for some pre-Easter fun! My family was in town and it was too nice to be stuck indoors.  Thus, an Easter Egg Hunt was on the menu. It was so cute to see the girls hunting.  I also enjoyed seeing Sophia walk all around the yard exploring.  Isabella got a little over excited and kept taking eggs from Sophia.  Its a good thing this was just a practice round.

Speaking of a fun filled weekend...look at these chocolates!!!  Diet...what diet? Our family sure does spoil us!
