As much as we are watching our children to see what they do with thier lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours.

Two front teeth

Isabella's loose tooth came out at school, which she was hoped would happen.  I just happened to be at the school office when she walked by.  It was neat to be there at that moment! So, not only was Isabella ready in her red, white and blue for veterans day but she was also ready for the tooth fairy!

Sophia the first

"When I was a little girl..."  that is how Sophia now tells stories.  In Sophia's eyes, she thinks that a 4 year old is a big girl.  Little does she know that no matter how big she gets Sophia will always be my baby!  Our sweet Sophia is 4 years old and acts every bit the part. She loves to play dress up every day, multiple times a day. She can almost write her first name and loves to do homework like Isabella.   Sophia is our snuggle bunny with a heart of gold.  She is a dream come true and we thank our lucky stars for her every day!

Sunshine State

Since we were heading to Florida for my sisters wedding, PopPop & Grandmom came along for a mini vacation.  It was a treat to be able to spend time together and enjoy the beach in November!  The beach in Destin, Florida is BEAUTIFUL!  The sand is  as white as snow and the warm water was crystal clear.  It was by far the most stunning beach that I have been too!

On the day  that we headed to the beach it was a little chilly for swimming or so I thought!   Thus, we did not sport our bathing suits.  Little did I know the water would be so warm and welcoming.  During a walk on the shore both girls said "Oops, I slipped" (into the water)!   The girls were warm as long as they stayed in the water.  Isabella and Sophia both enjoyed swimming in the Gulf of Mexico for the first time.

The day that we headed to the beach was a very special day indeed.  It was sweet Sophia's 4th birthday!  The birthday girl had a fun and busy day!  Sophia's day started with a cupcake, playing at the beach, a restful nap, an awesome trip to Build a Bear and a fun train ride.  Sounds like a super fun 4th birthday to me!

Mo-Sho Wedding

My sister Megan & Pezh were married in Florida at the beginning of November.  The girls were so excited to be in the wedding!  They did a great job walking down the aisle, smiling and holding hands.  My sister looked stunning and made a beautiful bride.  The entire day Sophia was enchanted and could not keep her eyes off of Megan.  She said Megan was a real princess!!  The reception was a blast and the girls took to the dance floor right away!  It was a blast!

A Rock Star & Dorothy

We have two happy girls these days. Isabella was in the market for a new pair of sneakers.  She wanted something with rainbows, hearts, stars, glitter and gems.... And we actually found a pair that fit the bill.  They were not my taste but match Isabella perfectly. She is very proud of her first pair of light up shoes.

Isabella's new shoes were perfect for a rock star on Halloween, which was her costume of choice.   Sophia's costume this year was Dorothy.  They enjoyed wearing their costumes a lot this year.  They attended a trick or treat and a parade in shops near our home, then they attended one at our preschool church!   Sophia was also in a Halloween performance at school....all of this before Halloween had even arrived.

On the morning of Halloween the girls suited up in costume for their very first flight!  They sported their costumes from Maryland to Florida and lucked out with yet another shopping center giving away treats!  It was a pretty sweet Halloween season.
