As much as we are watching our children to see what they do with thier lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours.

Fancy Nancy

Saturday was a fun filled day!  Isabella &  I  headed down to Williamsburg for a Fancy Nancy Tea with her friend Madelyn (and her family too).  It made for a fun girls day and also a real treat for the big kids since they were the center of attention.  Kelly (Madelyn's mom) and I both left our little ones home with their Daddy.

The Fancy Nancy Tea was held at the Yankee Candle Store in Williamsburg.  There was not actually any tea served but there was lots of finger foods and the mini cupcakes were a hit.  The "tea" also included a fancy ring for each kid, story time with Mrs. Claus and a professional Fancy Nancy photo.  On top of all that fun we also enjoyed just walking around the store.  The store had an awesome toy shop, an moving - singing clock, a fountain and a Christmas room that would even snow!  It was a fun girlie day!!

I really enjoyed having Isabella to myself for a few hours.  She had such a fun time!  Although Sophia was home, she did have a fun day too.   In fact, she had so much fun that she wanted nothing to do with me when I came home .  Sophia really enjoyed playing with Daddy. I think its great they had some alone time too.

The BIG 3.5.

Happy Birthday Will!!  We celebrated Will's birthday last week and the girls enjoyed helping make cookies, a cake and crafts for their daddy.  Isabella sang the whole birthday song to daddy and it was sweet to hear her voice.  She even helped blow out the candles.  Sophia enjoyed the festivities but was too tired to enjoy the cake.  It was cute to see how excited the girls were to celebrate with their daddy.  They sure are Daddy's girls!

Tubes & Paint

Last Thursday Sophia had surgery for tubes to help prevent constant ear infections.  She did great and was ready to play a few hours after surgery.  Sophia is such a trooper.  Here are a few photos of her the day of her surgery.

By the next day, Sophia was back to her happy self and the girls enjoyed some time outdoors.  Sophie loves being pushed in the swing by Isabella.

On Friday morning Isabella found a bottle of my nail polish and wanted to paint her toes.  She wanted red!  I promised Isabella that if she took a nice nap we could paint her toes.  Well, she took a wonderful nap and I let her paint her toes and nails!  She did a pretty good job.  Once the paint was dry, we scrubbed the paint off of her skin and now her nails look better than mine do.  Ha!

Thank you to our friends and family who made Isabella's 3rd birthday a memorable occasion!

My Sweethearts

Will came home from work with flowers & chocolates for his girls (Me, Isabella & Sophia).  We were suprised and very happy.  Isabella enjoys smelling her tulips which of coarse were pink! We also exchanged homemade valetines that were very sweet.   On this day and every day may my family be reminded how special they are to me.  I love you all very much!  xoxo

Here are the girls on valentines day.

Pinkalicious 3rd Birthday!

Happy Birthday Isabella!
Its hard to believe Isabella is 3 years old!  Time sure does fly when you are having fun!

Here are a few facts about our 3 year old:
Favorite Color - "Pinkalicious"
Favorite Food - Spaghetti
Favorite Toys -  dollhouse, books, Barbies and trains
Hobbies - coloring, painting, riding her trike
Loves to play dress up and make believe.
Always on the go and very active.
Loves to sing and talk.
Since  Isabella loves the color Pink and the book Pinkalicious we celebrated her birthday Pinkalicious style.  Pink cupcakes, pink lemonade, pink candy, etc..  To start off the birthday celebration Isabella received a birthday gift in the mail from Grammie - it was all PINKALICIOUS!
We had our friends Pat, Michelle and their daughter Addison visit us this weekend. It was a huge treat to spend time with them. Isabella had a blast with Addison and Sophia felt like a big girl being included. All the girls had a popsicles bath! Meaning we let them enjoy popsicles while they were in the tub. It was fun for the kids and easy clean up for us.

Here are some photos from our weekend.

Sporting the goods from Grammie

I made the cupcakes to match the book.
Look at all that delicious icing!
Favors were pink marshmallows dipped in white chocolate and covered in pink sugar.
They were fun to make and a treat to eat.
The girls were NOT in the mood for photo's Sunday morning.
But they did look cute in their party dresses, huh.

Losing our cat Poca on Isabella's birthday made for a bittersweet day.  Thankfully there were lots of family, friends, smiles & love to go around.
