As much as we are watching our children to see what they do with thier lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours.

Sophia is Six

Sophia's 6th birthday was a school holiday so we were able to enjoy the day together.  We had a fun day planned out by Sophia. First we started the day with a cupcake for breakfast.    Next on the agenda was Jumpology and Chickfila with friends. After the fun morning, we then went home and opened gifts. Dinner was Sophia's choice at Chuck E Cheese. It was a fun filled day!  A few days after Sophia's actual birthday we held a Barbie almost sleepover party.  She selected two special friends to come over.  The girls wore pajamas, ate pizza, barbie cake and watched a barbie rock and roll movie.  Sophia's 6th birthday was a joyous event for our whole family.

Isabella's October Adventures

Isabella had a pretty sweet October.  She went on an overnight trip with her Brownie troop to the VA beach aquarium.  They were able to tour the facilities and sleep inside the aquarium.  Isabella conquered a fear and touched the sting rays.  The girls all had a great time and I am thankful Isabella was able to participate.  Isabella has also been enjoying her first season of soccer.  Three girls from her brownie troop are on the same soccer team.  Isabella has had an opportunity to be more independent this school year and we are proud to see her make good choices.

Two Elves and a Birthday Girl

Sophia's birthday celebration was kicked off with a visit from PopPop and G-mom.  Sophia had a wonderful weekend spent celebrating her birthday with grandparents.  They took her to jumpology to play and then Cracker Barrel (her choice) for dinner.  Lastly, she was delighted to receive a microphone karaoke machine for a gift.  Eddie and Mary watched the girls so Will and I could attend a fun neighborhood Halloween party.  Since I am now working full time, I did not have a chance to finish making our costume till the morning of the party. We dressed as Elves on a Shelf.  The party was a blast and we enjoyed a night out. It was a fun weekend for all.  We were sad to see Eddie and Mary leave.  Sophia said " I love them so much, they did everything I wanted for my birthday!"

Pumpkin Patch

Crisp air, hayrides, fields of pumpkins...it must be fall.  We tried a new farm this year for pumpkins.  Lloyds family farm was not only picturesque but a great experience for all. The girls enjoyed a horse ride, checking out the horse stalls, feeding animals, getting up close to a chicken and searching for the perfect pumpkin. It was the perfect fall day!
