Fun in the sun!

Sophia is 6 months old now and is a sweet as cherry pie. She is sitting like a champ and loves the new vantage point it gives her. She is still waking up 1-2 times at night but that's okay with me. This baby stage goes by so fast so I will deal with a little less sleep for a while. Everyone does eventually sleep through the night, right?


Isabella loves to do whatever Sophia is doing and these days Sophia
sits in the high chair to eat while Isabella sits in the booster seat. While I was preparing lunch Isabella hopped up in the chair and strapped herself in. Thus, Sophie ate lunch on my lap that day.
Last week was HOT HOT HOT so it was time to bust out the water toys. Bell decided her water table worked just fine as a pool. She hopped in there in the blink of an eye. She is one fast toddler.

Last week we made a visit to Williamsburg to check out Busch Gardens. Isabella was eager to get on the rides and did not want to wait her turn in line. We met friends at the park and enjoyed the day together. It was a blast and we are looking forward to going back again soon.
Isabella did not want to take a photo with any of the characters but she kept walking up to say "hi" to Big Bird.

No, we did not plan to have matching outfits. All the moms just happened to have khaki shorts and green tops on...with the blue BOB strollers we really looked like we planned it out. Ha!

Isabella went on the balloon ride all by herself. She liked it so much she rode it 3 times in a row without getting off! She said " I flying Mommy". This is an attempt at a photo of us on a ride together...not a good attempt but worth sharing anyway

Now the bumper cars were a stitch to watch. Her car never moved. Bell turned the wheel and hit the gas but never at the same time. She had a good time anyway.

The plane ride was her favorite ride by far and she is still talking about it. The co-pilot (behind Isabella) is her friend Jackson.
