Last weekend we joined friends at
Carter Mountain for apple picking. The view from the orchard was beautiful and the weather was perfect! Not only did we pick apples but we also enjoyed fresh apple cider doughnuts, a hayride and a picnic lunch. Sophia really enjoyed being hoisted up to pick apples whereas Isabella preferred checking out the ones on ground level. The apples were crisp and delicious. Since our trip we have enjoyed the fresh picked apples, warm honey apples and apple crisp. Isabella took one bite of my apple crisp and exclaimed " You are the best Mom ever!" I guess, she liked the dessert, huh.
