Lucky Number 7

Sophia turned 7 and requested a party at Chuck E Cheese!  She loved playing there with her friends.  On Sophia's actual birthday I surprised her by volunteering to help with her class fall enrichment.  It was a treat to see Sophia happy with her friends.  She is well liked by her classmates but prefers 1-2 friends in small groups.  One little boy told me that he was going to marry Sophia.  He was upset at snack time when he could not sit with his wife Sophia. Lol!  Apparently Sophia and Jackson made elaborate plans... they would marry and move to Paris.  After they had babies in a hospital they would move to DC.  Most of the class was aware of their plan. Happy Halloween

Halloween is fun time of the year to get creative and dress up.  This year Will and I went to a party as a bunny and a magician.  Isabella was a zombie rock star and Sophie was a cuddly panda bear.   This year we had neighborhood kids over before heading out to trick-or-treat. Sophie went to about 10 houses, then chose to be home to hand out candy.  Isabella on the other hand had energy to trick or treat all night.  However, it was a school night so the sugar filled festivities had to wrap up.  Happy Halloween indeed!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Birthday Beach Trip

The gift of a memory is the gift that keeps giving. Instead of gifts for my birthday, we opted for a weekend getaway in VA beach.  It was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday starting with watching the sun rise over the ocean to walking the boardwalk at night.  We played in the ocean, sand and both pools.  The feel of the warm sand between my toes and looking for shells was good for the soul.  Plus seeing my daughters having a blast made this Mom happy! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On my actual birthday we attempted to ride the 4 seat bike on the boardwalk..  That was no easy task!
