School Days

Back to school time is exciting.  Sophia and Isabella's teachers are both on maternity leave for the first 2 months of the school year.  The girls had wonderful substitutes and liked their classmates. They both are in class with their best friend! Sophia's first grade teacher will be Mrs. Vest and Isabella will have Mrs. Word for third grade.

Our school hosted a family picnic in September and the girls had a blast running around the school yard with friends.  We also enjoyed walk to school day too!

 

 

 

 

 

Summer 2016

Summer was wonderful!  We enjoyed lots of time at the pool.  The girls attended Martial Arts camp, visited with family, played around the house, splashed around at Water Country, completed 2  summer reading clubs and a day trip to VA beach.

The pool and swim team were a big part of our summer.  The girls enjoyed being Tigersharks and earning lots of ribbons.  Will and I were the girls #1 fans!

I visited Sophia at school for the last lunch of the school year.  She did not want me to leave and held on to me with big crocodile tears.  Sweet Sophia.  That night there was a bad storm and lots of trees went down and power was out for many in Richmond. We had a large tree fall on our swing set and fence.

School was canceled for the last day due to no power from the storm.  The girls have changed a lot from the 1st day of school photos to the last day.

Isabella and Sophia enjoyed the start of summer by spending time away from home with Granmere and Poppy.  They had a great time.  Will and I enjoyed the break but really missed them.
