Summer Blast

So far, summer has been a blast!  Isabella started Summer Blast camp at her school where she enjoys time with her friends playing games and crafts.  Sophia has enjoyed "Momma camp" at home playing in makeup, painting nails and making mac & cheese.  They both enjoyed their first week at camp.

Isabella's Adventures

The adventures of Isabella continue.  My big girl had a fun filled May & June.  She was in a kindergarten performance at school, joined pre-swim team, went to Build-a-Bear with our girl scout troop, attended girl scout camp, learned how to tie shoes and finished up the end of Kindergarten. Its hard to believe Isabella is now a rising First grader!

Woohoo! Its Summer!

Isabella had a wonderful first year in elementary school.  She loved her class, friends and teachers.  She was sad to go in on the last day of school and said she would really miss her teacher.   So sweet!  It was nice that Bella loved her class so much that she did not want school to end for summer.  However, Isabella is excited that school is over.  The three things she wants to do this summer are attend Vacation Bible School, go to the beach, and swim at the pool!

Sophia and I enjoyed having lunch with Isabella at her elementary school!  Sophia felt like a big girl and I loved the time with my daughters.

The girls were in their first dance recital!  Isabella tap danced to "Dont Worry, Be Happy" and Sophia did ballet to "Earth Angel".  The girls did great and enjoyed being on stage.

These girls love to play in our backyard and be outside.  Its great to see them play together and come up with new games.

Sophia's Happenings

We have been busy as ever! Sophia finished up preschool and soccer.  Sophia enjoyed talking to her coach and fixing her hair more than kicking the soccer ball.  She even asked her coach if they could play a princess game with the soccer ball.  Preschool ended with popsicles and smiles.  Sophia said is excited to be home with Momma every day rather than at school.   Since pre-school has let out we have spent some time in the pool and she not only taught herself to swim without any lessons but also went off the diving board (into my arms).  WOW!  She is a little fish and loves to jump in the water and yell "Cannonball". Ha!  Sophia sure does bring joy and laughter to our lives!
