A Day Fit for a Princess

On Isabella's 4th birthday Will took the day off of work for a fun filled family day.  Isabella picked out a special outfit to wear on her birthday. It was the Rapunzel dress with glitter shoes.  For breakfast we surprised Isabella with a trip to the donut shop. Isabella gets a kick out of eating out and who does not like donuts, right!  After a sugar filled snack we headed to Toys-R-Us to select a toy.  Isabella loved spending the day as a family.  I feel the same way!

Build-A-Chipmunk

Grandmom & PopPop took Isabella to Build-A-Bear for her birthday.  It was cute to see Isabella select her animal and give it personality.  She started by stuffing the chipmunk, which included inserting a heart. Following that, Isabella gave her chipmunk a bath by brushing its fur.   Next we were off to the dressing room with clothes and accessories to personalize the chipmunks look.  Bell was excited to find silver glitter shoes and a tutu for her animal.   The final step was creating the birth certificate.  Creating a name was funny since Isabella kept giving me different names...such as "Ahkaka" or "Umi".  She eventually thought of Lucy which was perfect!

Party Time!

Isabella wanted a Diego birthday party this year.  We had lots of fun Diego activities at her birthday party.  The kids made animal themed door hangers, then the kids went on an animal rescue.  Once all the animals were collected we played "pin the rescue badge" on Diego.  The party ended with a Diego pinata!

Sophia loves to talk about "Isabella birt-day comin' up". Its so cute to see how excited both of the girls are to celebrate. We have been busy celebrating and will do a birthday post soon.  For now, here are a few photos of Isabella on her last day as a 3 year old.

Bubbles, Manicures & The Park!

Yesterday was Groundhog day and 6 more weeks of winter was predicted.  However, in Richmond we are still waiting for winter to begin.  The Spring like weather is refreshing and we love to be outdoors.  This week the girls enjoyed bubble time, manicures, and a trip to the park.  We even had a picnic lunch at the park which was fun!  Here are a few pics of our fun week around town.
