Well Isabella has had a very adventurous weekend!!! She has a whole new bag of tricks. She surprised us by going from her stomach to a sitting position. It first happened at day care and although I was sad to miss it I was happy to see her hit a new milestone. So that made for an exciting week, but wait there is more.....she started crawling last night!!

So big!
Our sweet daughter will be 6 months old in a few days. Half a year, Wow! Time sure does fly when you are having fun. She is trying so hard to crawl these days. Bell gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth, goes in circles and can crawl backwards. We are eagerly anticipating her taking off full speed ahead.
Her little personality is emerging and we LOVE it! She loves when Mommy and Daddy read to her and that has become a daily ritual we all enjoy. Isabella now weighs 15 1/2 lbs and is enjoying exploring the world of solid foods. So far she has enjoyed rice cereal, applesauce, avocado, sweet potatoes and pears. She still enjoys munching on her toes! Pure cuteness.

Evelynne & Isabella Notice the adorable matching attire Another fun filled weekend at the Schaefer abode. Saturday our friends Dave & Jenny came over with their daughter Evelynne. Isabella and Evelynne took a quick dip in the pool and enjoyed sharing their toys. Its was interesting to see them react to each other.

Rice & Apples
With much anticipation and excitement Bell started solids today. Isabella dined at the Schaefer Chateau where her menu was gourment rice cereal and organic applesauce. She seemed to enjoy the rice cereal (which looked more like rice soup) but not so much the applesauce. I think it was too tart for her. We all had a great time and the expressions Isabella made were priceless! There was a bit of a mess for the maitre d' (aka Mom) to clean up so its was spa/bath (aka Dad) time for Isabella.
First Foods: Applesauce & Rice Cereal
Pretty much adorable
